One thing I dislike most about summer, especially where I live, is the excessive heat. When the temperatures get up past 110 on a daily basis, it almost seems pointless to put on makeup - it practically melts off your face! Not to mention the oiliness in my T-zone really seems to show in the hot summer months. Fortunately, there are a few products that can save the day.
A top summer essential of mine is Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. This genius little invention is always in my purse, and has saved me from many oily meltdowns in summer (though they're great any time of year, really!). Perhaps the first company to produce oil blotting sheets for your face, originally as an acne product, Clean & Clear still gives us the best way to freshen up throughout the day.
These sheets are small, convenient and discreet - just slip one out of the pack, blot your oily spots as necessary, and toss. You'll be amazed at what comes up, even if you don't think your skin is very oily. The silky smooth sheets won't budge your makeup and, better yet, won't leave any kind of powder or residue behind.
Many companies have their own blotting sheets, but why pay extra for the exact same thing? Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets are available in many stores for only about $5.00 per pack of 50. Try them out - I don't know how I'd survive summer without them!
(And if you REALLY want to go budget, you can always try Kim Kardashian's method - "You can use toilet seat covers to blot your face. It's basically the same material as blot papers and their free! Ha ha!")

LOL, really?!! I'd never even heard of that before now! It makes sense, but I never made the connection... haha! Very creative :)
I have read about the toilet seat cover as oil blotting paper when I watched Tyra Show! :) I don't have oily face but it's funny how this JnJ clean and clear can manage to grab even the tiniest oil on my face! :) this product is good! and its famous down here
Hhahah I've heard about the toilet paper cover method.. those are probably better for blotting oil. I never use it for what it's really for because I hate feeling the texture of it on my bum. LOL. I just use layers and layers of toilet paper. =S
I wanted to get those too but a different brand. sometimes I think i get too oily..... and i be using too much.
I have got to pick these up! I have done the toilet seat cover method...works better than you think, haha!
But these sound like a more dignified method of blotting your face! :)
