Today's review comes straight from the BBB Boyfriend! After noticing his dry, cracked, rough man-hands for months, I encouraged him to try some products I thought might help. Much to my surprise, he did... and liked them!
Check out my boyfriend's review of Burt's Bees Hand Salve and Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme!
"My problem is with my hands; I sometimes have small patches of rough, dry skin, and I almost always have peeling around my cuticles. My girlfriend recommended I try the cuticle cream and hand salve, and I found them both to be good at keeping my skin smooth and moisturized.
The hand salve is made with beeswax and a variety of oils designed to nourish dry or rough skin. I found that for non-severe dryness or roughness, the salve works wonders, and almost instantly helps to moisturize the rough patches. The salve absorbs quickly, which is good, but it doesn't seem to provide a long-lasting effect for very dry or cracked skin. The rosemary, lavender, and eucalyptus oils create a nice scent, and overall I think the hand salve is great at caring for the occasional patch of dry skin.
The cuticle cream seemed to help me much more; it gives me longer-lasting moisture for dry cuticles, and helps even when my skin is peeling or cracking. The cream stays on my hands longer, and feels less oily than the hand salve, which I like. The fresh lemon scent is a plus, too, and will leave your hands feeling and smelling wonderful.
Both products are great at what they do; the hand salve treats minor dryness and the oils penetrate into your skin to smooth and moisturize, and the cuticle cream leaves the area around your nails soft for a long time, taking care of any roughness you might have."
So there you have it! Burt's Bees Hand Salve and Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme are strong enough for this "rugged desert man." (He wanted to make sure he still sounded manly while reviewing beauty products.)
You can pick up both products at your local drugstore for $6-9 each.

That's cute! Great to see a male perspective.
Nice review.
I saw this and was hesitant to pick it up, I think I might have to now. (:
