Max Factor fans, listen up... it's a sad day in the world of makeup.
As crazy as it sounds, P&G has announced that it will discontinue selling Max Factor brand in the US starting sometime next year. Considering this brand originated in the United States, just turned 100 years old, and invented lip gloss, it's a bit of a shocker that it will no longer be sold here.
I'm going to stock up on Vivid Impact Lipcolor lipsticks, stat!
Max Factor girls can still get their fixes online, but only where international shipping is available.
Hang in there, girls!

That is so odd - an American brand that can't be bought in the US...
Such a shame, it's the first make-up I ever tried as a child, I think it was something like a stick foundation, pan stick or something like that. I loved it.
I'm going to have to go out and look for it now and by some lipstick, too.
Omg, I love Max Factor, it's such a classic brand. Reminds me of my grandma and old glamor...maybe that's why it's being discontinued. Well, this is an excuse for me to go out and haul some items, I guess!
This is a sad, sad day. I wrote about this on my blog but I'd just like to say it again: Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara is my holy grail mascara and I can't bear to think of having to stop using it! But I just don't want to have to pay outrageous shipping fees for ordering out of the US, so I guess the quest for another great mascara begins now... :(
What?! Really?
