Lately, I seem to be having more and more of those kinds of days... you know, the ones where you come home and nearly collapse the moment you get in the door. Or maybe you do collapse, and just spend the night sleeping on your living room floor. Who knows.
Either way, it's days like these when certain products can make your life infinitely easier... because the last thing on your mind is spending five minutes scrubbing all the makeup off your face. This is one such product.
Clean & Clear Soothing Eye Makeup Remover is, by far, the BEST makeup remover I've ever tried on a budget. This oil-free formula is everything I've always wanted in a drugstore remover, without the irritation and hassle.
A few swipes of this stuff takes off anything from long-wearing eyeliner to eyeshadow over primer to mascara. Simply shake, apply to a cotton round or ball, and gently swipe your eyes. You'll be amazed at what comes off those babies!
And since I wear contacts and have extremely sensitive eyes, I'm all about the oil-free, gentle formula. The liquid feels similar to an oil, without the greasy touch or gross residue after. Instead, your eyes are left feeling fresh, soft, and clean.
This remover doesn't take off everything in one swipe - something I've yet to see any drugstore product do - but it's still darn good for the price, and probably as close to a fancy, $30 makeup remover as you can get. Seriously, it works miracles.
For $5-7, you just can't say no. And why would you want to? Be sure to check out the makeup dissolving wipes and foaming cleanser, too, for even more ways to make your nightly routine a snap.
Pick yours up wherever Clean & Clear is sold, and stop falling asleep with your eye makeup on.

Thanks for the head's up - I'll definitely have to check it out the next time I'm at the drugstore. You can't go wrong with a great deal.
Clean&Clear doesn't agree with my skin :( But yeah, washing your face after an entire day of staring at a computer can be too much work. Sometimes I do collapse at the front door and have to be bodily carried into the house. Then they feed me and get me back in working condition LOL.
I hate working. But if I don't work, whose gonna fund my beauty product addiction?
Love your blog :)
Thanks! I've been eyeing this for a quite a while. I've been meaning to purchase a bunch of dual-phased makeup removers and compare them to each other. So far I've used the Lancome Bi-Facil, Neutrogena Oil Free, and the Rimmel Gentle one. I want to try the C&C, Clinique and Quo which is a Canadian brand. LOL, I'm on a MU remover kick!

Thanks for this! I've been looking into an inexpensive makeup remover.
Anything that can work this well "at a budget" is great with me!
geekybeauty - I agree completely! You're welcome, and feel free to let me know how you like it.
Kaye - Sorry C&C doesn't like you! :( That's a shame, because they have a few of my favorite products. I hear you about work, LOL! And thank you!
Lisa - I'd be interested in seeing the results of your trials. I'm curious how a high-end product like Bi-Facil stacks up against C&C or Neutrogena! Will you let us know? :)
Fabuless - Sure! I love finding cheap products that work so well.
