Wow, what a treasure chest of information and great advice! I have been frustratedly looking for a lip product that accomplishes exfoliation that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and I thought I had finally found the answer on the clearance rack at Walgreen's the other night, but then I realized it had an ingredient I'm allergic to! So I tried a combination of your tricks, starting with a toothbrush and a dab of Carmex (which I love, and it's so cheap!), and then finishing with a honey-sugar scrub with a few drops of almond oil. My lips have never felt so soft before.
